The initial consultation is usually done over the telephone and takes about  15 minutes on average. This is to gather some basic information about your needs and how I can help you. There is no fee for this consultation except of course the price of your phone call. (Call Free if you are a UW customer)

If we decide to work together then we will make an appointment. You will be emailed a questionaire which must be completed and brought with you to your appointment.

A 50% deposit will be required when you book your appointment which can be paid via paypal,by cheque or in cash. The balance will be payable at your appointment.

Please Note: We require 24 hours notice of cancellation of an appointment. Failure to do so will forfeit the deposit. This is strictly enforced so please be sure you will be able to keep the appointment. If you do have to change your appointment then of course the deposit will be transfered to that new appointment date.


IMPORTANT:

We operate a stand by service where we offer waiting client's last minute sessions in the event of a cancellation.
We also offer interest free payment plans on all or Hypnotherapy treatments. Please contact us for details. We will work out a plan that will suit you.
So instead of putting treatment off, it's much easier for you to be making changes for the better.

DATA PROTECTION and PRIVACY

To perform our job properly, it will be necessary to obtain some personal details. These details are kept for treatment purposes only and will never be shared with any marketing or other agency. We will ask you to sign a consent form to allow treatment and to acknowledge our terms and conditions for such treatment. We are required to keep records for insurance and for tax purposes.  We will only release data to legal or medical authorities in accordance with the law. All information is kept under lock and key and is only seen by the therapist. Our insurance requires us to keep your records for 6 years after which we destroy those records.  We do not keep client data on any electronic device.

If at any time you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you can request to see this information and have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us to have the matter investigated.

If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office https://ico.org.uk/

You have a right to see what information is being held about you. This information is available on request. There is no fee for this.

During the consultation we will need to take a detailed medical history in order to give you the very best tailored, safe and effective treatment.

We believe it is absolutely essential that our client's can be confident that their personal information remains strictly private, confidential and safe.

Treatment of Children

Parental/ Guardian consent will be required whenever we have to collect personal information from children.
